ABRUPT SHOULDERS: LA SHOPPERS SCRAP ON BLACK FRIDAY


Los Angeles shopper pepper-sprayed a fellow competition for an Xbox and tussle broke out elsewhere around United States as mercenaries crowded stores in an earlier-than-usual beginning of Black Friday.

Unusual event takes place, chains such as Target, Best Buy and Kohl's are available until midnight on the most anticipated shopping day of the year. More stores like Toy R Us are still opene on Thanksgiving itself knowing shoppers come in handy with sharp elbows.

An accident caught in an electronics department near Muskegon, a teenage girl was knocked down and stepped on several times in a Walmart. Finding from medical team was all minor injuries.

Another Walmart in LA brought out a crate of discounted Xboxes, a woman fired pepper spray at the other shoppers "in order to get an advantage" as what investigation said before the video game players were unwrapped.

The chaos results to cuts and bruises to ten people and another ten having a minor injuries caught from the act. Suspect escaped from the chaos and authorities cant clear out things whether she got an Xbox.

Another incident happen during Friday morning, two women were injured and New York Walmart fight charges one man. Arrest in a scuffle at a jewelry counter in Walmart Kissimee, Fla.

The nation's biggest retailer has take steps in recent years controlling incidents that happened during Black Fridays following 2008 death count. It staggered its door-buster this year instead of offering all at once. Unfortunate incidents happen but still most of US location were still safe during Black Friday.

Crowds are getting bigger the reason why  on Black Friday trends, stores are open earlier and stay open late. Most of the shoppers are competing for discounts on gifts that everybody wants of course.

Marshal Cohen said; " The more people, the more the occurences," industry analyst with market research firm The NPD Group.

More discount this coming weekend as expected more shoppers will come as well, 3/4 of the amount serves as their discount, offered to 152 million shoppers either online or in stores.

Black Friday, a thanksgiving weekend is huge for retailers over the past years. ShopperTrak is expected to release data on Saturday on how Black Friday played for retailers as what they have released last year which accounted to a 12.1 percent of overall holiday sales.

In addition,compared last year this year retailers opened earlier and consumers benefits the competition among stores since most of the retailers match their price to the competitors, even provide layaway programs and more door-buster deals than last year.
